Developed by Megan Lapp aka Crafty Intentions, this pattern is for a Barn Owl!! This pattern is written in U.S. terminology.

This pattern comes with instructions to make your very own Barn Owl!!! The pattern includes one body that you can complete with two different sets of wings, either flying, or closed wings. The feet can be positioned for standing or from flying/gripping/grasping!! Everything you see crocheted in the photos is included in the pattern, including an optional way to crochet all of the plates together into two lines to make sewing much easier!! All instructions are carefully depicted with words and photos! This pattern features clear step by step instruction with a lot of row-by-row photos. The gauge is not crucial to the pattern so long as you are consistent throughout.

This pattern is a total of 111 pages containing a full set of written instructions with photographic illustrations, and there are video tutorials for particular steps and stitches available on my YouTube channel. This Pattern consists of ONE PDF File, and the last 23 pages are Text-Only, Printer-Friendly instructions, but I strongly recommend you still refer to the photographic illustrations throughout the pattern if you have any questions.

Main [M]: White
Face, Body, Legs, Tail Style 1 (underside), Tail Style 2 (underside)
Light Accent [LA]: Light Brown
Body Accent Color, Wings Style 1, Tail Style 1, Wings Style 2 Part 1, Tail Style 2
Dark Accent [DA]: Dark Brown
Eyelids, Face Accent, Beak, Clawed Feet, Wings Style 2 Part 2
To make the coloration as realistic as possible, for the Accent colors (and even the white, if desired), find a
variegated, heather, tweed, or some other multi-color option that will give the Owl feathers a more mottled
appearance.
